Nestled in the heart of Skeerpoort, Magaliesberg, Die Ou Pastorie is a charming country retreat offering memorable dining, warm hospitality and accommodation.
Tucked beneath the trees of the Skeerpoort valley, this home was built in the late 1800’s as a pastorie – a residence for the local minister serving a scattered farming community.
In those early days, journeys were long, the valley was quiet, and this house stood as a place of guidance, gathering, and rest.
Die Ou Pastorie welcomes guests once more – not as a place of duty, but as a place of belonging.

“Old Country House with a great garden setting for outdoor lunches. We had a late lunch and there was live music which was great. I ate the butter chicken curry, my friends had a beef pie and the chicken strips and chips – all of them were very tasty! Service was good and the waiter made some recommendations.“

“The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, but we chose to sit outside under the trees. It is so peaceful and quiet for breakfast, that we just sat there for an hour or two chatting.
